Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: 23 November 2025
Dokaran is committed to maintaining a communication environment that is respectful, relevant, and free from unsolicited or deceptive messaging. This Anti-Spam Policy describes the standards we apply to all outgoing communications and the expectations we hold for anyone using our platform to send messages or contact others.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All electronic communications sent by Dokaran, including email, notifications, and system messages
- All users, participants, and account holders who use Dokaran services to communicate with others
- Any third-party integrations or tools used in connection with the Dokaran platform
2. Our Commitment to Responsible Communication
Dokaran sends communications only where there is a legitimate basis to do so. We do not send unsolicited bulk messages, and we take reasonable steps to ensure that every communication we send is relevant, expected, and clearly identified as coming from us.
2.1 Consent-Based Messaging
We send marketing or promotional communications only to individuals who have provided explicit consent. Consent is recorded at the point of collection and can be withdrawn at any time.
2.2 Identification and Transparency
All communications from Dokaran clearly identify the sender. We do not use misleading subject lines, disguised sender addresses, or deceptive headers. Every message includes accurate information about its origin.
2.3 Unsubscribe Mechanism
Every marketing or non-transactional communication includes a clear, functional mechanism to opt out of future messages. Opt-out requests are honoured promptly and without requiring the recipient to take unnecessary steps.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Dokaran platform and in connection with any use of our services:
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages of any kind, including email, in-platform messages, or automated notifications
- Using harvested, purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists to send communications
- Disguising the origin or routing path of any message
- Using misleading or deceptive subject lines, preview text, or sender names
- Sending messages that contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Circumventing unsubscribe or opt-out mechanisms
- Sending communications at a volume or frequency that constitutes harassment
- Using the platform to distribute malware, phishing content, or any harmful material
- Impersonating Dokaran, its staff, or any other person or organisation
4. User Responsibilities
Users who send communications through or in connection with Dokaran services are solely responsible for ensuring those communications comply with this policy and with all applicable laws and regulations in the recipient's location.
4.1 Maintaining Clean Contact Lists
Users must maintain accurate and up-to-date contact lists, remove invalid or bounced addresses promptly, and honour opt-out requests without delay.
4.2 Content Standards
All messages sent through the platform must be honest, relevant, and appropriate to the relationship between the sender and the recipient. Content must not be misleading, offensive, or harmful.
4.3 Obtaining Consent
Where consent is required before sending a communication, users are responsible for obtaining, documenting, and maintaining that consent in accordance with applicable standards.
5. Enforcement
Dokaran monitors for indicators of spam-related activity and investigates reports of policy violations. Where a violation is identified, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning to the account holder
- Temporarily suspend messaging capabilities
- Restrict or terminate access to the platform
- Report the matter to relevant authorities where required
Dokaran reserves the right to take action proportionate to the severity and frequency of any violation.
6. Reporting Spam
If you have received an unsolicited or unwanted message that appears to originate from Dokaran or from a user of the Dokaran platform, we encourage you to report it so we can investigate.
You can contact us by:
- Email: dokaran@hotmail.com
- Post: Via Merulana, 143, Roma
Phone: +393925705821
Please include as much detail as possible, including the message content, the sender address or name, and the date and time the message was received. We treat all reports seriously and investigate them in a timely manner.
7. Transactional and Service Communications
Certain communications are necessary to deliver our services and are sent regardless of marketing preferences. These include account confirmations, password resets, security alerts, enrolment confirmations, and other messages directly related to your use of the platform. These communications are not subject to marketing opt-out and cannot be disabled while an account remains active.
8. Third-Party Services
Where Dokaran uses third-party tools or service providers to deliver communications, those providers are required to meet standards consistent with this policy. We do not sell or share contact information with third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications.
9. Changes to This Policy
Dokaran may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal environment. The date at the top of this document indicates when the policy was last revised. We encourage users to review this page periodically. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
